I accept and clearly understand that there are risks involved in the activities of this race that include but are not limited to winter-camping, biking, running, skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. Including, by way of example and not limitation, the encounter of moose, buffalo, wolves,  avalanches, overturning ice rocks,  frostbite, dehydration, hypothermia, falling through thin ice, and getting run over by a snow machine. I understand that there are more hazards than are enumerated here, and that there are unknown and unforeseeable hazards. I engage in the activity of this race/adventure with knowledge of the inherent risks of injury.

I agree to participate at my own risk. I therefore, myself, my heirs, successors and representatives hereby knowingly and intentionally waive and release, and agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the race organizers and race volunteers, or their estates from any and all liability for any and all such damage, injury to myself or to any other person or property, including travel to and from Anchorage.

I understand the risks of winter sports, winter-camping, biking, running, skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling and I have carefully read, understand and voluntarily accept the terms of this waiver and release agreement.

Race to McGrath (350 mile)
Fees: US $850.00  before December 1, 2009
US $950.00 after December 1, 2009

Race To Nome (1100 mile)
Fees: US $ 1000.00 before December 1, 2009
US $ 1100.00 after December 1, 2009

Nome racers except for previous Nome finishers must post a $750.00 refundable bond which will be donated to Iditarod if the racer asks for help from Iditarod trail crews or check points in non emergency situations.
